ContentBox is a professional open source modular CMS (Content Management System) for Modern ColdFusion ([CFML](https://modern-cfml.ortusbooks.com/)) and Java engines that allows you to easily build websites, blogs, wikis, complex web applications and even power mobile or cloud applications. Built with a secure and flexible modular core, designed to scale, and combined with world-class support, ContentBox will get your projects out the door in no time.

## Versioning

ContentBox is maintained under the [Semantic Versioning](http://semver.org) guidelines as much as possible.Releases will be numbered with the following format:

<major>.<minor>.<patch>
```

And constructed with the following guidelines:

* Breaking backward compatibility bumps the major (and resets the minor and patch)
* New additions without breaking backward compatibility bumps the minor (and resets the patch)
* Bug fixes and misc changes bumps the patch
